My name is Pablo. I arrived on the island in February 2016. I began this wonderful experience on a farm in the south of Iceland with a lovely Icelandic family. After a while I moved to Reykjavík and, having fallen in love with this wonderful country, I began training as a tourist guide, glacier guide and first aid guide in the natural environment in order to be able to professionally carry out this beautiful job. I have worked with different agencies in the sector before starting this challenge and professional development that is Aldu Experience. The idea of Aldu is clear: show the country with the enthusiasm and the admiration that I have for it, in the same way that I saw it when I arrived and in the same way that I would have liked to get to know it through a local at that time. This is my life and my baby, so I take care of it as such, giving an exceptional service to create unique and different experiences, or at least that is what I try to do on each of my trips.

      </details>

I am Jakobina Davíðsdóttir, I am Icelandic and my story began with my father, who was a guide all his life.

My first full trip around the island was with him, and it was there that I fell deeply in love with my country. Since then, that passion for the island has only grown. For 20 years I lived in Spain, but my connection with Iceland was always strong, and I couldn’t help but return to my homeland.

I graduated as a guide in Iceland in 2004, and since then I have had the privilege of dedicating myself to my true passion: showing the beauty and secrets of this unique country to those who are drawn to it, just as I was. I am delighted to be able to share this adventure with everyone who crosses my path.

      </details>

Hello! I’m Emilie, I’m half English and half French, and since 2016 I’ve made Iceland my home. My connection with this beautiful island began in the summer of 2016, when I went on a trip with a good friend and fell head over heels in love with its wild landscape and tranquility. I decided to stay, and after a few years working at a travel agency in Reykjavík, and finishing my studies in tourism, I felt like I had found my place. That’s when I joined Pablo and Aldu Experience’s project, a project that shares my vision of making every trip a unique and unforgettable experience.

My passion for travel and sharing the wonders of this incredible country with others is what drives me every day. That’s why, in addition to my work in the office, I really enjoy guiding travellers and helping them discover what makes Iceland so special. For me, every day is a new adventure, both in and out of the office.

      </details>
